Dos is singal user operating system. It stands for disk operating system. It was developed by 典im pattersion・USA in 1978 - 1980 latter on it bought by Microsoft Corporation and renamed it in to Microsoft corporation rename called MS-DOS.

In the windows programme we can open many programme at once so it is called multitasking operating system.
